Denis Giba took on co-leadership of ODU together with Dr.-Ing. Kurt Woelfl, coming on board as managing director. As part of the company management team, the 41-year-old Giba will be looking after the areas of portfolio management, sales, corporate communication and marketing. Before arriving at ODU, he was the European sales director at a sensor manufacturer. Prior to that, he spent 19 years working for a large family business from the electronics industry, holding a variety of executive positions, most recently as sales and marketing director. This role saw Giba spending several years working in the US and holding the sales responsibility for Asia as well.
Denis Giba is the successor to Dr. Joachim Belz. According to Managing Director Dr. Kurt Woelfl, strengthening the executive team is an important and logical next step in ODU’s continuing development as a successful global player. “Our goal is to keep growing in a targeted and future-oriented fashion. And to make this happen, we need outstanding people on all corporate levels and in all our areas around the world,” explains Dr. Woelfl, who is extremely pleased at the new executive addition.
